Lucy was born in the UK and has been living in Aotearoa since 2013. After graduating from university in the UK, Lucy went to travel and live in Australia, after two years there she returned to the UK and began a career in recruitment. But the travel bug hadn't disappeared; she continued to travel and explore the world before finally landing in Aotearoa. Lucy's passion for people, mental health and wellbeing started when she became a recruiter and from there she developed into the HR space. Prior to joining the Mental Health Foundation Lucy was the people & culture manager at Greenpeace New Zealand where she worked for six years.
Lucy's happy place is reading a good book on the beach, swimming in the ocean or going on a nice long bush walk.
