 Mindful Aotearoa is holding a Waikato Open Afternoon for education professionals in the region to find out how the Pause, Breathe, Smile mindfulness in schools programme can help improve students’ wellbeing.The free presentation is an opportunity to find out more about the mindfulness in schools programme and its benefits. It will also explain how to apply for a number of scholarships available to education professionals interested in becoming a programme facilitator.

 In addition, there will be information about subsidies for Decile 1-5 schools interested in implementing the programme.Mindfulness is a core part of the Mental Health Foundation of NZ's work toward creating a society where all people enjoy positive mental health and wellbeing.The scholarships have been made possible thanks to generous funding from Trust Waikato, WEL Energy Trust and DV Bryant.The Waikato Open Afternoon will be held on:Thursday, 7 July 20164pm-5.30pmAt the Link Community Centre
