Mindful Aotearoa moves to new home

3 Feb, 2017

The Mental Health Foundation's MIndful Aotearoa programme is now being delivered by the Mindfulness Education Group (MEG). This includes the Pause, Breathe, Smile programme, the Foundations of Mindfulness course, the Professional Development Pathway and all related activities.

MEG is the brainchild of Grant and Natasha Rix, both formerly of Mindful Aotearoa. While working for the Mental Health Foundation, Grant created all of Mindful Aotearoa’s courses including New Zealand's only locally developed, evidence-based mindfulness in schools programme Pause, Breathe, Smile.

Grant and Natasha have trained many people throughout New Zealand to deliver Pause, Breathe, Smile in schools. They will continue this work through MEG with full support from the Mental Health Foundation and, for now, the Mindful Aotearoa website is having a rest!

Visit MEG's new website to find what you're looking for including how to register for the online mindfulness course and the 2017 training schedule, venues and costs for learning how to teach Pause, Breathe, Smile and integrate mindfulness into your school. You can also subscribe to the new Mindfulness Education Group newsletter to stay informed and up-to-date with the latest news and events.

We're excited about this development and looking forward to a great working relationship with MEG in our mutual desire to help create a society where all people flourish. Please email Grant or Natasha if you have any questions at all.
