Stepping out of the Shadows: insights into self-stigma and madness, is a collection of articles, essays and personal accounts about self-stigma associated with mental illness. Self-stigma is a relatively new topic for the mental health and social sectors and it is hoped that this book will appeal to a broad cross section of people from all walks of life.
